A Man Cut Into Slices Is Alive—Day 3
Day three of the site being live feels like standing at the edge of a cliff.
In tarot, the Fool begins with curiosity, a step forward. That’s what today has been—the first morning waking up to the results of the previous days self‑promotion.
Letting the project be seen.
Proof of Growth
I’m adding screenshots from the site statistics page. They aren’t viral numbers. They aren’t super impressive yet, but they’re real. Each visit is a person who may have found something worth their time.
I think that matters more than scale.
I’m also including a screenshot of a Reddit comment—one thoughtful review from someone who had no reason to be kind. I didn’t ask for it. I didn’t prompt it. They simply read, felt something, and spoke.
That, too, matters. To me.
Here’s the part I didn’t anticipate fully.
Promoting a book that is inseparable from my crime creates a moral pressure. Each post asks a question: Where is the line between honesty and exploitation? It lies between telling the truth and leveraging it.
I feel that weight.
I don’t want attention because of what happened. I want attention despite it.
Still, I can’t pretend the discomfort isn’t there.
Yesterday, I took another step placing the work in the open, trusting that those who are meant to find it, will.
If you’re here this early, thank you. You’re part of the first footsteps taken on this trail.
Yesterday, I walked alone.
Today, you’ve met me.
Tomorrow, we start walking together.
